Marie Lucie Bince, age ninety four, departed this earthly plane on April 12th, 2015 following a series of farewell visits, from family and friends, that were filled with song, laughter and prayer.
Marie Lucie Bince was born to Dasil and Acelie Bince during the year 1921 in Lilavois, Haiti. She was the fifth child of six. Her brothers, Dantes, Charles, Gaston and Moise, along with her sister Leonie, helped to provide the foundation of family and faith that she would stand on the rest of her life.
Marie Lucie Bince was an au pair during her mighty walk on this earth. The nurturing of children was her life’s calling, and the many children’s hearts that she poured her love into remain living testaments of her kindness and tenderness. In a society that is driven by callous profit, Marie Bince thrived on the currency of love and affection showered upon her by the many children--who are now all adults--that she once cared for at various times.
Marie Lucie Bince was an active member of Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church. She loved to sing church hymns for hours at a time in order to fortify her unyielding faith rooted in the Christian gospel.
Marie Lucie Bince is survived by her son, Berthony Louis and daughter-in-law, Marleine Louis. She is also survived by four beautiful grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services are entrusted to WALDON Professional Funeral & Cremation Services which is located at 710 Lexington Green Lane in Sanford, Florida 32771. Kristy M. Waldon, Funeral Director.
