Faith. Family. Compassionate Service.
My name is Kristy Waldon-Mitchell, and I am the founder and owner of Waldon Professional Funeral & Cremation Services. I am honored to serve families and the community through the funeral service profession. I am a native of Florida, and my faith, family, and commitment to helping others have played an important role in shaping the person I am today.
First and foremost, I am a woman of faith who loves the Lord and strives to allow Him to guide my life, my decisions, and the way I serve others. I believe that serving people is more than a responsibility; it is a calling. My relationship with God reminds me daily of the importance of compassion, kindness, patience, and love, especially when walking alongside families during times of loss.
My love for the funeral service profession stems from the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in others' lives. I understand that losing a loved one can be one of life's most difficult experiences, and I consider it a privilege to help families honor, celebrate, and remember the lives of those they hold dear. Whether offering a listening ear, providing guidance, or helping families create a meaningful tribute, my goal is to ensure that every family feels respected, supported, and cared for. Here at WALDON, we believe every life has a story worth honoring, and every family deserves to be served with dignity, compassion, respect, and understanding.
Family is at the heart of who I am. I am a proud wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, and I cherish the love, connections, and memories that family brings into our lives. These relationships have strengthened my appreciation for the importance of family bonds and the value of being present for one another through life's joys and challenges. They also deepen my understanding of how precious every moment with our loved ones truly is.
My commitment to funeral service extends beyond the families we serve; it is also rooted in my love for the community. I believe that a funeral home should be more than a place families turn to during a loss. It should be a trusted source of comfort, support, and guidance—a place where people feel welcomed, valued, and treated like family.
It is my desire to serve with a heart full of faith, a spirit of compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others. I thank God for the opportunity to be a blessing to families and to serve others in a way that reflects His love.
My mission is simple: to compassionately serve every family with faith, compassion, dignity, respect, and love, honoring each life and supporting each family as if they were my own.
