Mrs. Walker and family: Capt. Walker was so very special to us. He’s one of the people who told us that we were too close too soon. We didn’t listen, and we were married six months after graduation from Pine Forge Academy in 1965. And we are still together. However, Captain Walker was right! We should have waited. Those early years were not so great; we were still growing. Thank God, we made it. Our deepest condolences! He was tough, but we knew he cared.
