My wife Pat and I share our sympathy with Theo's family and close friends. We both served with him on the Radiology Centennial Education Committee. He was wonderful person and dedicated volunteer and professional in medical physics.

To the Agard family ...
I am so sad to hear of Dr. Agard's passing. Please know, however, during this emotional time, that he his goodness has touched many more than you may have imagined. Dr. Agard was my first medical physics mentor in Puerto Rico. He taught me to always treat cancer patients with skill and compassion - something that stayed with me throughout my 40+ year career, and something that I passed on to those who I in turn mentored. His legacy lives on ...

I was a young Medical Physicist at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio from 1975 to 1980. This is when I became acquainted with Theo. There was a group of medical physicists who met together frequently and during these years I became very fond of Theo. I remember and greatly appreciate his kindness, his thoughtfulness, and his graciousness. He was helpful to me in these early years of practice in medical physics. There were also a number of occasions that we were able to share our walks of faith in Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, after I left Good Sam, I lost contact with Theo, but I look forward to seeing him again in on the Lord's presence.

In 1985 I entered full time Christian ministry with Campus Crusade for Christ, a labor of love which continued for 20 years. Now I am back once again in the field of medical physics.

To you, Joyce, and to your entire family I extend my deepest sympathy for your loss, but I understand the profound joy of knowing that you will be reunited once again with Theo in the Lord's gracious and wonderful presence.

To Him be all the glory!
