In Loving Memory of Cindy K. McClanahan April 12, 1955 – January 17, 2026

Cindy K. McClanahan, lovingly known as Mom and Mamaw, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026.

She was born on April 12, 1955, in Richmond, Indiana, and lived a life rooted in love, family, and kindness. Cindy was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandma who found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, listening to country music, watching reality TV, or working on a good word search puzzle.

She is survived by her children, Ivy Foust (Jeremy) and Brandy Byrd (Daniel), and her grandchildren, Bridget Foust (Richard), Alex Foust, Katelynn McClanahan (Tristan), Cameron Foust, Cody Foust, and Dallas Baker, whom she loved deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. McClanahan, as well as her parents and siblings.

Those who knew her will remember her for her unwavering kindness, strength, humor, and generosity. Also, for her love of baking for every holiday; her deep love for the band Queen; days spent going out for breakfast and shopping; suntanning; watching Urban Cowboy as many times as she could in a day; and the way she made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Her love and legacy will live on through all the lives she touched.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
