She was born on May 16, 1976 to Benigno Melendez and Irma Castro in New York City, New York. She was very loving, kind and gentle. Left to cherish her memory is her father - Benigno Melendez; mother - Irma Castro; sisters - Yenis and Yanet; and a host of aunts, neices, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
