Lucrecia Pineda was born on March 9, 1947, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, to Victor and Lastenia. She married her husband, Jose Pineda Sr, and together they welcomed their first three sons in Honduras.
In 1979, Lucrecia immigrated to the United States with her family, settling in New York. After having her two youngest sons, the family relocated to Orlando, where she would spend the remainder of her life.
Lucrecia was a hardworking woman. In Honduras, she worked in secretarial roles, and after moving to Orlando, she started a family-run janitorial business, which she operated for many years until retirement. In her later years, she devoted herself entirely to her five sons and the family she loved so deeply.
She loved to cook. She loved the color green. She loved many things but nothing more than being a mother to her five sons. They were her purpose in life, and she made sure each one of them knew how deeply they were loved. Over the years, she extended that same love to her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
Lucrecia fought a long, courageous battle with her health, showing us all what true strength and determination look like. On July 12, 2025, in Clermont, Florida, she took her last breath on Earth and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Lastenia, her sister Mirna, her brother Roberto, and her great-grandson Jalen.
She is survived by her husband Jose, her five sons:
* Martin (Sonia)
* Joee
* Jose (Evelyn)
