HIGHLAND MEMORY GARDENS

In Loving Memory of a free-spirited and beloved Marcia was born in Kingston, Jamaica, on August 19th, 1954. Marcia is a private, free-spirited soul who lives life on her own terms and found pure joy in the simple pleasures of family, travel, and the open road.
She loved to travel; the road represented freedom, adventure, and the opportunity to discover new places and create new memories. Whether traveling near or far, she embraced the journey and carried with her a spirit of independence and curiosity.
Marcia proudly served the United States Air Force, which reflected her strength and dedication.
Family was deeply important to her. She experienced a profound loss of her mother, Phyllis DaCosta, her brother, Milton Holmes, and niece Tiffany Holmes, losses that shaped her life and left places in her heart that could never be filled. She continued to cherish the family she had and especially valued the time spent together. She loved being surrounded by family, sharing stories, laughing, traveling, and simply enjoying each other's company. She was private by nature, but those who knew her understood that beneath that quiet spirit was a woman who valued freedom, family, living life authentically, and sometimes being a rebel.
May we remember the life she lived, the miles she traveled, the places she discovered, the service she gave, the friends and family she loved, and the freedom with which she chose to live.
Her journey on this earth has come to an end, but her road does not end with us. She lives on in the memories of those who loved her, in the stories that will continue to be told, and in the lives that she touched along the way.
Survived by her brother, Lennox Holmes & a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
