Mary Griffin Obituary Mary E. Griffin of Orlando, Florida, died on August 22, 2023, at the age of 78, after a long illness. She was the youngest daughter of Esther (Farrell) and William P. Griffin of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mary was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and Rollins College, becoming a mental health counselor after raising two children, volunteering as an EMT, and reporting for The Penn Franklin News in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. She loved helping her clients and spending time with her amazing poodles, Armani, Lily, and Spectro. Mary is survived by her dear friend Fred; her daughter, Jessica (Chris); her son, Doug (Robyn); and her grandchildren: Nick, Rachel, Griffin, and Grayson.
