Michele René Campbell was born August 9, 1969, in Sacramento, California, to Delano and Nancy Thaxton. She was baptized at Saint Basil's Catholic Church in Vallejo, California, in 1969 and completed her religious studies at Saint Victor's Catholic School in San Jose, California.

Michele met her future husband, Russell, while attending college in San Jose. They married in June 1995 and were blessed with two sons, Dorian Mchyael and Donovan Ross Campbell.

As an Air Force wife, Michele traveled the world with her family, embracing each new adventure with enthusiasm. She built a successful career in retail management, holding positions with companies including Target and The Gap. Michele's love for travel and people led her to a role she cherished deeply—working as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines.

Michele's passions included traveling, shopping, skiing, and playing tennis. She brought joy, laughter, and warmth to all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother - Nancy; her sons - Dorian and Donovan; two brothers - Bryant (Nataura) and Matthew Thaxton; her sister - Monica; her former husband- Russell; former in-laws - Karen McCoy, Leigh Campbell, and David McCoy; her cousins - Shaun, Marie, Armin, Andre, Adonia, Johnny, and Troy Hickman; a host of Baltimore family members; her Delta Airlines family; her Delta Sigma Theta Sorors; a host of other relatives and friends; and her cherished "Old Lady Gang" - Elaine, Grace, Rosemary, Priscilla, and Nancy.

Michele's life was marked by love, adventure, and dedication to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered. May she rest in peace.
