MURIEL VANESSA PORTER Obituary Muriel Porter Rowe AKA Vanessa earthly journey began on July 11, 1960, in Broward County to Isadell C Porter and Junior Porter (both deceased). She was a very shy little girl growing up. She attended elementary school in Delray Beach at Plumosa Elementary and attended Deerfield High School. She is the baby sister of eight siblings. Her oldest sister Andronike Wells and five brothers Hector, Dedrick, Warren, Andra (all deceased) and the youngest living brother is Byron Porter. She met the love of her life, her husband Horace Rowe, and they shared many memories and dreams. She had one son, Ketrie Porter who she loved dearly, and he has one daughter Jamya Whitehead who was the apple of her eye.
Vanessa has three nieces Lindreth Miller (Semmie), Jalanda (deceased), and Tarrah McGill (Christopher) she also has two nephews Robert Wells ll (Andrea) and Damien Porter his daughter her great-great niece Zaviah Jackson. Following her great nephew and nieces and her great greats Jamarr Odom (Lauren) daughter Nadrien, LaJara Miller, Christopher Lyons son Zayne, Rakarrah Miranda (Cesar) daughters Rhilee and Calani, JaDaja Anderson (Andre), Semara Miller daughters ArMyah and Laykin, Adaiah Wells, Aaron Wells, Kamaria McGill, Kyron McGill. She also has a host of cousins and her close friend Phylus Mounds.
She was really giving to all her family and friends. She was very selfless, always ready and available to lend a helping hand. She loved all her nieces and nephews as her own children. She was known for her artistry in her penmanship. She often enjoyed shopping, coloring, and getting dolled up for any occasion. She had a heart of gold for many people, and she truly loved her husband, her son, family and friends. She had the most beautiful smile ever she would smile and still get you together out of love. Her presence lit up a room you heard her voice and knew who it was before you even saw her. Her presence was well known for her personality.
She enjoyed doing assembly work, allowing her to work with her hands. She was also well known for interior decorating her home her sister home and nieces home too. She was known for having the cleanest house in the family and would often rearrange and clean everyone elses home as well whether you asked her to or not. We knew that was her love language and let her do her.
