Pearline Streater Obituary Pearline Streater was born May 27, 1916 in Eufaula, Alabama to Josephine Upshaw and Albert Brown. She received her education through the public school system in Alabama and was a nurses aide and homemaker. In 1936, Pearline married Joe Louis Streater, and together they bore one son: Willie Clarence Streater. In 1954, they moved to Florida. Pearline took pleasure in helping others in the community raise their children, as well as enjoyed cooking and visiting family and friends. Pearline Streater was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Brown and Josephine Upshaw; husband, Joe Louis Streater and sister, Dora Ann Dale. She was led to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in 2003 by her grandson Reginald, and was summoned Home to her eternal rest on Monday, October 5, 2015. Pearline leaves to treasure her memories her beloved son Willie C. Streater, Sr. (Deltona, Florida); sister-Velda Brown (Phenix City, Alabama); brother-Joseph Dale (Rochester, New York); devoted niece-Eloise Arnold (Orlando, Florida); five grandchildren-Willie C. Streater, Jr., and Reginald Streater (Orlando, Florida), Patricia Streater Johnson (Deltona, Florida), Angela Streater and Ronald Streater (Orlando, Florida); seven great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
