Richard Dee Beard, 75, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on August 26, 2026. He was born on September 9, 1950, and was a graduate of John Harris High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Music was Rick’s lifelong passion. He played guitar locally with the Soulville All-Stars and Hydraulic Peach before going on to become a full-time musician. The Soulville All-Stars were honored in 2025 with induction into the Central PA Music Hall of Fame.

In recent years, Rick developed an interest in horticulture, finding enjoyment in the beauty and growth of plants. Above all, he was devoted to God and was always eager to share his love for the Lord with anyone who would listen.

Rick is survived by his sister, Barbara A. Boline. He was predeceased by his father, Richard L. Beard; his mother, Doris J. Beard; and his sister, Debra L. Blosnich.
