TREVOR THOMPSON Obituary Mr. Trevor Owen Thompson was born in Hackney London, England on December 7th, 1962, to Leroy and Vilna Thompson. Trevor along with his parents and siblings migrated to the Parish of Manchester in Jamaica, W.I. in 1972. He received his formal education in Jamaica, W.I. at Belair Preparatory School and Manchester High School. In 1979, Trevor and his family resettled to Brentwood, New York in the United States. He attended Brentwood High School, SUNY Farmingdale and SUNY Stonybrook where he studied Chemical Engineering. Trevor then began working in the Medical Finance field where he excelled. In 1985, he was married to Dianne Grant, and that marriage produced Trevors son Kyle Trevor Thompson the following year. Trevor had a passion for music, especially "Old School Reggae". We will miss his warm contagious smile, outgoing personality and giving heart which endeared him to all those whose lives he touched. Unfortunately, Trevor suffered a stroke in 2007, Stroke rehabilitation helped him regain independence and improved the quality of his life. He was able to leave rehabilitation and relocate to Florida to be near his family in January 2021. His parents preceded him in death.
