Obituary

Vanburn Ivey Obituary Vanburn OBryan Ivey was born in Jamaica to parents Raymond and Jonett on February 15th, 1976. He moved to the United States at the age of 8. Growing up in West Palm Beach he later moved to Orlando, FL, which eventually became his home, to attend the University of Central Florida (UCF). Bryan graduated from UCF with a BA in 2001. During his time at UCF Bryan met his love Gillian Dunbar and they married in 2008. In 2010 they welcomed their pride and joy their son Matthew. Bryan was an entrepreneur at heart and his life and career depicted that. He had a love for Marketing, and most of all for helping people. His entrepreneur spirit culminated when he combined his two loves and created Back 2 Basics Marketing, and subsequently in 2010 he started the Back 2 Basics Radio Show on WOKB 1680AM. The show was filled with lots of humor and tons of controversary, it tackled some of the most provocative breath taking and socially critical issues that people are just too afraid to talk about. The radio show became one of Bryans loves and connected him to the Orlando community gaining him an extended family. Bryan ended every show reminding us with his favorite quote by Theodore Roosevelt, in any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the RIGHT thing, the next best thing is the WRONG thing, and the absolute worst thing you can do is NOTHING. Forever In Our Hearts. Until we meet again may you rest in Jesus arms. Romans 6:2223 "But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Service Program Click to download / open
