Mary Griffin
Obituary
Mary E. Griffin of Orlando, Florida, died on August 22, 2023, at the age of 78, after a long illness. She was the youngest daughter of Esther (Farrell) and William P. Griffin of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mary was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and Rollins College, becoming a mental health counselor after raising two children, volunteering as an EMT, and reporting for The Penn Franklin News in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. She loved helping her clients and spending time with her amazing poodles, Armani, Lily, and Spectro.
Mary is survived by her dear friend Fred; her daughter, Jessica (Chris); her son, Doug (Robyn); and her grandchildren: Nick, Rachel, Griffin, and Grayson. Donations may be sent in her memory to the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation, nadf.us, or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, bcrf.org.
Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 10:00 am at College Park United Methodist Church, 644 W. Princeton Street, Orlando, FL 32804
