Robert “Bob” James Harris, 76 of Orlando, Florida, gained his eternal wings on August 31, 2022. He was born in Farmhaven, Mississippi on April 22, 1946, to Lizzie Carson Harris and Tommie Harris.
As a child, Robert enjoyed playing marbles, fishing, and hunting. He graduated from Velma Jackson High School in Camden, Mississippi. Later, he married his life partner, Lois “Zenobia” Day and to this union a beautiful daughter was born - Cynthia R. Harris. Robert loved his family and was a hard-working humble man who had a perfect attendance record at Coca-Cola Beverages as a production mechanic after forty years of dedicated service. He was fiercely independent and loved road trips.
Robert was beyond talented; he was more than “Mr. Fix It” for there was nothing he could not fix and problem he could not resolve. He had the Midas Touch! When Robert was not fixing on his favorite toys, like his antique cars, you could find him on his boat fishing. Robert lived a full life and loved to fish as much as he enjoyed working on his cars. He was very quiet and very seldom showed any signs of anger.
Robert showed his family unconditional love every day, even when he said "no", he would try his best to make it happen. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone who knew and loved him. Robert gained his eternal wings on August 31, 2022, surrounded by his family.
