Mr. Roy Daquain Blackshear "Bra Bra", also known as Q to his friends, of Casselberry, FL transitioned to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, May 13th, 2020.
Quain was born on May 25th, 1984 in Syracuse, NY; the fifth youngest of six children born to Elizabeth Blackshear of Casselberry, FL and first oldest child born to Roy Blackshear of Coral Springs, FL.
Quain lived his short life to the fullest. At the time of his passing, he was working in a position that gave him the opportunity to enjoy his passion of cooking. He loved to see the smile on someone’s face enjoying the foods he prepared for them.
His presence, as big as it was, will be missed by all. Please rest assure that he is in a better place and is being looked after by his and our family members in Heaven.
Please don’t be sad about Quain’s passing, we will all grieve in our own way, but be joyous and joyful about his life and our pure luck to have known such a beautiful person. He was Love and Loved by all.
Mr. Roy Daquain Blackshear leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, his Father, Roy (Lorraine) Blackshear of Coral Springs, FL; Mother, Elizabeth Blackshear of Casselberry, Fl; Brother, Leonard Dewberry; four sisters – Sade Blackshear, Tera Dewberry, Shirelle (Roosevelt) Williams, Cynthia (Mark) Moore; 14 nieces and nephews – Tahj, Nahj, Jamila, Shaquain, Toccara, Cierra, Malaysia, Marjani, Zariah, Damontae, Janeequa, Leonard, Jr., Markeec, Brianna; step-sister Jessica Blackshear and a number of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th, at 1 pm ET: Walden Funeral Home, 710 Lexington Green Lane, Sanford, FL 32771.
