Willie Mae (Favors) Reaves, 82, of Orlando, Florida, transitioned from labor to her final rest on August 21, 2022 of heart failure.
Willie Mae, fondly known as “Punkin” was born on December 8, 1939 in Edison, Georgia. She attended Edison High School, Calhoun County, Edison, GA. She was a steadfast Christian and woman of great faith committed to serving God through His Son Jesus Christ as she was led by the Holy Spirit. She was a faithful intercessor and possessed great wisdom. She retired from Disney. Willie Mae had an unquenchable love for family. She raised 11 children – her seven, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Willie Mae was preceded in death by her dad Willie James Favors, her mother Wilma Cook, brothers Charles and half-brother Willie James Favors, sister Lula B. Johnson, daughter Wilma Mae Favors and son Michael Anthony Jones. She is survived by her half-sister Chinie Lee Favors-Molden, half-brother, Willie George Favors; her sons Charles, Sr. (Dr. Julie), Frank Dempsey, and William Reaves (Connie), and her daughters Loretta Cooper (Graylin) and Raquel McGowan; Grandchildren: Nina, David (Meghann), Gerald (Kimberley), Philip, Travis, Quiana, Frank, Jr., Zuriel, Nikisha, Charles, Jr., Brian (Theresa); Great grands: Joshua, Catino, Dominic, Chloe, Charles III, Amiya, Arianna, Gerald, Jr., Kymorah, Taniyah, Genesis, Giselle, and Assad; First Cousin Ida Mae Joyner (sister/cousin); nephew and nieces Curtis, Sheila (John), Gina, Anita, and Diana; and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews and relatives.
